OpenAI's US ad revenue is expected to fall 90% short of its five-year target, according to an Emarketer report, with estimated ad revenue of less than $1 billion this year. OpenAI had projected $2.5 billion in ad revenue for this year and over $100 billion by 2030. Emarketer estimates all chatbot ad revenue will reach $5.41 billion by 2030.
