UK unveils prototype missiles for Ukraine built entirely without US components

The UK has successfully tested three prototype long-range missiles for Ukraine, built entirely without US components under Project Brakestop, aiming for delivery by late 2026. Developed by MBDA UK, MGI Engineering, and Rotron Aerospace, each missile carries a 225 kg payload and targets a cost of £400,000 per unit. The project seeks to bypass US export restrictions, with plans to produce 20 missiles monthly.
