Space Force triples launch contract ceiling amid rising demand

The US Space Force has raised the National Security Space Launch Phase 3 Lane 1 contract ceiling to $17 billion from $5.6 billion. The increase expands the amount that can be spent on launch task orders among seven companies, including SpaceX and Blue Origin, through fiscal 2029. This move follows a surge in demand for satellite missions.
