A 600-mile road trip (and data) proves EV charging doesn’t suck anymore

A recent 600-mile road trip from the US to Montreal and back revealed significant improvements in electric vehicle (EV) fast charging infrastructure. The trip, which covered three charging sessions, was nearly flawless, with the only issue being a faulty card reader at one station. Data suggests that fast charging in the US has improved dramatically, with the number of DC fast chargers increasing to over 64,000, and reliability improving by nearly 10 points since last year.
