Tesla expands Robotaxi to Florida, marking its third state for autonomy

Tesla has expanded its Robotaxi program to Miami, Florida, marking its third state with autonomous ride-hailing services, following Texas and California. The initial geofence covers 10 to 14 square miles, focusing on western and central Miami, including Miami International Airport. Meanwhile, a Texas man, Michael Butler, has been charged with manslaughter after his Tesla, which he claimed was in self-driving mode, crashed into a home, killing a woman. Tesla reported delivering 480,126 vehicles in Q2 2026, a 25% year-over-year increase.
