Claude Cowork's biggest use case is the mundane office work nobody wants to own, Anthropic says

Anthropic's analysis of over 1.2 million sessions of its AI agent Claude Cowork reveals that half of all usage falls into two categories: business operations and text-based work, with the largest share going toward administrative tasks such as generating reports and building checklists. Software development accounts for only 8.7 percent of usage, as developers tend to rely on Claude Code for coding needs. These findings suggest that Claude Cowork is primarily used for mundane office work.
