China becomes second country to recover orbital booster with Long March 10B

China successfully launched its Long March 10B rocket from Hainan on July 10, recovering the first stage using a sea-based net system, marking the country's second orbital booster recovery after the U.S. China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) confirmed the booster's reuse before year-end, advancing both reusable rocket technology and its crewed lunar program. The 63-meter, 760,000 kg rocket has a 16,000 kg low Earth orbit payload capacity and supports satellite deployments and cost reduction goals.
