Waymo appears to pause San Francisco service amidst power outage

Waymo temporarily paused its robotaxi service in San Francisco due to a power outage affecting around 7,000 PG&E customers. The company made adjustments and has since resumed service. A Waymo spokesperson said the pause lasted about one hour to assess the outage and coordinate with local officials.
