Thousands Of Noncitizens Registered To Vote In New Jersey, Governor Admits

New Jersey Gov. Mikie Sherrill reported that a software error registered about 6,600 noncitizens to vote between June 2023 and June 2024. Fewer than 400 of these individuals voted, according to a preliminary analysis. The error occurred under the previous administration and has since been fixed.
