London Stock Exchange eyes overnight trading launch in 2027: FT

The London Stock Exchange plans to launch an overnight trading venue in early 2027, operating from 5:00 pm to 7:50 am London time, to compete with crypto markets and tokenized equity platforms. The new venue, led by CEO Julia Hoggett, will initially offer exchange-traded products tracking UK and US markets, while the main market retains standard hours.
