All the EVs that were discontinued or killed off in the U.S. this year
Honda discontinued the Prologue, its last U.S.-sold EV, in July 2026, citing market challenges. Earlier that year, Honda and Acura canceled three planned EVs, including the Acura RDX and Honda O sedan and SUV, blaming U.S. tariffs and Chinese competition. Other discontinued EVs include the Hyundai Ioniq 6, Nissan Ariya, Polestar models, and Tesla’s Model S and Model X.
