SpaceX reveals Starship Flight 13 launch date

SpaceX is targeting July 16 for the 13th Starship test flight from Starbase in South Texas, aiming to demonstrate stage separation, engine relight and controlled reentry while deploying 20 Starlink V3 satellites. The mission will use Booster 20 and Ship 40 with Raptor 3 engines, attempting a Gulf of Mexico splashdown and an Indian Ocean upper-stage landing. The rapid seven-week turnaround follows Flight 12’s issues and supports SpaceX’s push toward higher launch cadence for orbital refueling and Mars missions.
